The red quilt

This is one of my favorite quilts. It’s one of the few I actually managed to finish (I tend to quit after I get the front finished). I used 20 (or so) different fabrics in various shades of red, being careful not to go too orange or pink, and cut them into 6″ squares. The final quilt is 15 squares by 17 squares plus a border and fits nicely on my queen bed.

This is a “during” shot. If you look closely, you can see the binding isn’t quite finished in this photo, but it still gives a good idea of what the final product looks like.
