Old t-shirts die hard

Many moons ago, on a trip to NYC, I bought a Gama-Go t-shirt at a funky store called Yellow Rat Bastard.

I’ve since outgrown it. Not physically. I mean, it still fits; it’s just not my style anymore. But I still think it’s a fantastic design, and I want to figure out how to use it in some other way.

The black fabric attracts fuzz (specifically cat hair) like a magnet, so I have to be wise with my repurposing choice. A pillow for the bed, for example, is a stupid idea, as it will be covered in mere seconds with enough cat hair to build ourselves a brand new kitten. I love these little guys, but lord, do they shed.

I’m leaning toward a small tote or a piece of art stretched on a small canvas frame. The image needs to be featured on something special. It’s really cool.

The shirt reminds me of some wrapping paper I recently purchased.

I think it’s the bright, round, cartoony characters that remind me of the little alien on the t-shirt. I haven’t had any gifts to wrap since I bought the paper. Is anyone’s birthday coming up?
