An apple a day

I’m lucky enough to be awaiting a homemade hand-felted leaf brooch from Jox at The Knitted Blog.  And in return, I’ve made her a set of appliqued red apple coasters, which I really hope she likes.

The set of 4″ x 4″ coasters comes in a matching appliqued box.

Each coaster is backed in contrasting polka-dots and has a layer of batting to protect furniture from heat, cold and moisture.

Someone got hungry.

I’m hoping to drop these in the post tomorrow. Although I made this set especially for Jox, I’ll be posting similar items in the Boutique (a.k.a. my soon-to-be Etsy shop).

I’d also like to send out a very special thank you to Natty at Natty68 and Erika at Erika Cass Designs. They both awarded me gold stars in the Swap-bot Blog Awards. Thank you!
