The Toby Tote

Five days after picking up my sewing machine from the repair shop, and after an incredibly busy week, I’m finally back in full swing of getting ready to open The Boutique.

Say hello to the Toby Tote. It’s approximately 8″ wide, 7″ tall and 4″ deep.

This sturdy corduroy tote is lined in cotton fabric and accented with contrasting reinforced handles.

Look for this bag (and its brothers) in my upcoming Boutique, along with these Red Delicious note cards.

I must really be nostalgic for Pennsylvania autumns. I’ve been drawn to chocolate browns, deep reds and olive greens lately, even though I’m still wearing flip-flops and tank tops here in humid Tampa. I never realized just how much my feelings or emotions at any given moment could affect the outcome of my crafts.

The Boutique will absolutely, positively be open by November 1. Preparing for it has been more of a challenge than I thought it would be. It’s a wonderful, fun, creative challenge, but a challenge nonetheless. I’m a perfectionist, and each item I make is extremely time-consuming. But I love what I’m doing, and I’m incredibly excited to open The Boutique.
