Two more bags for The Boutique/the craft show!

Oh, these were fun to make. Really, really fun.

Cutting and stitching all those swirly, curvy lines. It took a massive amount of patience and concentration, but I loved every second of it. I found it cathartic.

I was concerned that the above black and yellow bag would end up looking like a bumblebee, so I played it safe by doing one yellow and one black/white “sploosh” on the front instead of two yellows. The black/white sploosh toned it down just enough, I think.

Sploosh? Is that a word?

Anyone have a better term to describe this shape?

As with everything else I’m making between now and Dec. 14, these are posted in The Boutique and will come with me to the craft show if they don’t sell.

As the proud new owner of the brown tote, I appreciate your patience and concentration with the curves. 😀 😀
