My parents are moving to the Keys, so I spent a good part of last weekend cleaning my stuff out of their attic. Almost all of it had been stored up there for years and forgotten about. I ended up giving the majority of it to charity and bringing home only two boxes consisting mostly of yearbooks and photographs.
I also found a gorgeous red pillow that my Tiny Grandma needle-pointed.
I have no idea why I boxed it up and stored it in the attic, but it’s now on display in our home where it belongs.
And do you see the retro blue chair that the delicate little pillow is sitting on? It was a sweet find. I bought it on major clearance — and I do mean major — at a discount store. It’s one thing to find the perfect chair for your home; it’s another thing entirely to buy it for a few bucks.
