Finally, after several weeks of (barely) keeping it to myself, something that I’ve been helping plan is at a stage where I can share it with all of you.

And so, without further ado, I proudly present Craft Roots, an arts and crafts bazaar to benefit the Volunteers of America of Florida.

I met a girl named Joy through the Etsy group that I belong to (Etsy FEST). Joy works for the Volunteers of America of Florida and came up with the idea of having a fundraiser craft show here in Tampa. The show will actually be in Ybor City, a funky, eclectic area of Tampa known as the Cigar District. It’s the perfect place for a craft show.

Anyway, I’ve been helping Joy with some of the planning — although she’s definitely been doing the majority of the work — and I’m proud to announce that we’re finally ready to start accepting vendor applications for the show! So if you’re anywhere near Tampa, SIGN UP!!!! DO IT NOW!!!!!

Visit the Craft Roots website for more details, and if you’re interested in being a vendor, please download an application (Word or PDF). Let me know if you have any questions, or email Joy at cigarcitycrafters(at)gmail(dot)com.
