Open windows

What an amazingly beautiful day!

The sun is out, but it only got up to about 60 degrees here today, which was a sweet relief from the humid mid-80s temps we’ve been having lately. We might even have to turn the heat on tonight, which Alex doesn’t know yet. I’m always cold and he’s always hot, so the temperature in our apartment is a constant battle.

We usually keep it cool (in my opinion) and I load on sweatshirts and sleep under four blankets while he sweats on top of the covers.

I made a new “sploosh” market tote. The autumn colors feel just right today.

I lined the tote in a red and yellow bird fabric by Moda.

Off to sew with the windows wide open so I can enjoy as much of this beautiful day as possible.
