Pin cushion

I went to a craft show called Handmade Holiday Bazaar in St. Petersburg last weekend and bought this pin cushion from Create It Cottage. She was a vendor at the first craft show I did, and I fell in love with the pin cushions back then. So when I saw her in St. Pete and still wanted a pin cushion as badly as the first time, I decided it was time to treat myself to one.
She puts a lot of work into these. The hand stitching is perfect.
I love going to local craft shows. Most of the vendors are fellow Etsians whose work I greatly appreciate and admire, and I actually know some of them since I’ve done a couple of shows myself. It’s also so much fun to be around people who I can talk to about crafts and sewing and art and my love of ricrac. I had an entire conversation with one girl about aprons. It was fantastic.
Thirty-one days until Atomic, and I’m working hard and getting a decent amount of sewing done.

That’s a huge freakin pin cushion! It even makes Quinn look small, and he’s a mountain lionette!
