There has been a wonderful November chill in the air, which is unusual for Tampa. I love pulling out the sweaters and scarves I only get to wear a few times a year. The cats love it because we open the windows in the middle of the day to let the cool breeze wander through the house.
I’ve been sewing a mile a minute (and have the sore back to prove it), but the sun sets so quickly these days that I have a hard time photographing everything before it gets dark.
Twenty-six days until Atomic, and for the first time since I found out I had been accepted, I’m finally calm about preparing for the show. The other day I asked myself “What will happen if I don’t have enough stuff ready for the show?” Seriously, what’s the worst that will happen? It all sells within the first two hours? Well, now, that would just suck, wouldn’t it? I have enough stuff to fill my booth, and I have enough of a selection to keep people interested. Other than that, there’s not much more I can do except sew my little heart out for the next 26 days.
